She is here!!

On Saturday morning, I saw another miracle enter the world. Let me introduce you to Eberly Lalane.

She weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Get ready for the massive amounts of pics and layouts I will be flooding this place with!!

Her momma, Amanda, had her completely medication free and I was so proud of her.

In case you are wondering............Amanda is one of our "adopted" family members. She is also Druann's mothers (See that layout with the cute curly headed blonde angel? That is Druann.) Amanda has been a part of our lives since she was 6 and we help her out like she is one of our very own. Our oldest daughter Jessica and her have been attached at the hip since they met playing T-Ball all those 15 years ago. When her real mother was going through tough times, Amanda came to live with us. She holds a special place in our hearts and her children are like our grandchildren.........gives us someone to spoil!!

So...........Let's all raise our glasses and have a toast!

To Eberly!! We are all so glad you are here!! We are blessed to have you in our lives!!

The Birth of Two Souls in ONE

I have been saving this picture of Satchel to scrap for some time now. I just couldn't come up with a title..........THEN the other night I was running and my Ipod played Gavin DeGraw's song "I Don't Wanna Be" and the second I heard the lyric "The Birth of Two Souls in ONE" I knew I had it.

So, here once again is a layout of Satchel............Now I miss him and may have to go up for a visit!

Build A Bear.

Our youngest daughter Anna turned 9 on Monday. It was difficult for us to imagine that only one of our children is still in single digits. She is the only daughter I have that is "Girly" she loves PINK, Dolls, Clothes and Jewelry........Oh and she love to accessorize!!

When we asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday, she exclaimed she wanted to go to Build A Bear. So, on Tuesday, I loaded up Anna, Erika, Lilia, Abi and Betsy and took them to the mall. They had a blast. They were so excited that they had to tell Dave all about them the MINUTE he walked in the door.

It's no secret.

Over at Scrap City, Jess challenged us to create a layout using Red and Yellow. Now folks.........I'll be the first to admit I am not a big fan of yellow so this really made me think outside the box. This picture isn't all that great but I loved that smirk I had on my face!

Anyway, the journaling on this is to my hubby. In it I confess that I sometimes grab his sweatshirts and put them on when I get to missing him. He always smells so good!

It's all attitude.

Here are my 3 youngest girls with their friends. They came up with the idea of being "Emos" to make fun of some boys who they see at the skating rink on Fridays. I just laughed when I saw them. Trying to get them to stop laughing while I took these pictures was quite the job!
Spring is here....................

and if you don't believe me, all you have to do is look at Anna's little face and just seeing that sunshine smile will bring a little spring into your heart.
