We make our own fun.

This Memorial Weekend we basically just stayed at home. It stormed every night so going anywhere was mute. Did we get bored? Nope. Dave rigged up one of our old mowers and gave the kids rides by pulling it with the tractor.

The man is just amazing with his kids!!

Baby Layouts!!

I have been on a roll with lots of baby layouts, then it hit me...........I haven't scrapped 2 of my children's hospital pictures. So, I tackled Erika's. Oh, and I had to do one of Satchel in the process. Tonight, I am going to work on Anna's.

Wish me luck that it comes out as nice as Erika's........or Anna will weep!....LOL!!

On A Sunny Day

Dave and I love to go for long rides on our Vulcan. What can I say? Nothing more awesome than experiencing spring on the back of a bike. We have taken a few trips and we can't wait for our next one.

Here is a picture I took of our shadow.........we both are all bundled up with our jackets. I think it was only 65 that day. We had so much fun!

For Mother's Day...My Very Own Baby Heaven!

This weekend, I was surrounded by tons of cute babies. Of course I had to take only a ton of pictures.

Here is a picture I took of Eberly. She is now 2 weeks old. I am so amazed how alert she is. Did I mention how sweet she is?? The entire weekend she was here, I don't think I heard her cry once.

Here is a picture I took of big sister Dru lovin' on her baby sis! Poor Eberly doesn't stand a chance.

Last be Not least is Satchel. He and Booker came to visit this Saturday because Jackson had a ball tournament. I was in SHEER HEAVEN!! I had all these babies in the house!!

This picture I took of Satchel.........taking a nap on my chest!!! That is harder to snap than you think! I had ALL of my children home, Dave didn't have to work.........and it was a GORGEOUS day. It was the PERFECT Mother's Day!

Talia........Where did the time go?

It seems like only yesterday you were sitting at your little desk in our old house so bored with me going over your letters. Now you are graduating from high school and will be going to college this fall. Sniff, sniff.....hand me a tissue would ya?

Of all our children.............You ARE hands down the walking, talking miracle. Yes, it's true that sometimes you only speak in your own language but we love you just the same. You have overcome such adversity and have not ONCE spoke in a negative manner about your circumstances. You just keep on keeping on. Your witness to others is truly in the way you just let the small things slide off your back.

When I grow up.........I want to be just like you!

The portrait for this entry was taken by Tami Martin of TLM Images. She can be found here at http://tlmimages.blogspot.com/

Tami does great work and will work with you to make sure you get tons of poses and that you are happy with the way you look. She really pays attention to detail. I HIGHLY recommend her for Senior Pictures, Weddings, Self-Portraits and capturing those cute baby shots!!
